I grew up drinking this Kaapi often at my mom's place when we had cold and sore throat, this Kaapi used to act as immunity booster in my late 20's, saddest part was I had forgotten this drink, all of sudden this drink was reminded by my daughter when she asked me what do patti do when you get cold in your childhood days.

Ingredients:
Ginger - 4 to 5 pieces
Milk - 1/2 glass
Water - 3 glass
Sugar/brown sugar - 2 tsp
Instructions:
Chop the Ginger into cubes.
In a pan, add water and bring to boil.
Now add the chopped ginger into it and boil them until water reduces little.
Keep the flame low, then add milk to it, then again boil them.
Add required sugar and mix.
Serve hot!!
