Galho, also known as Zawo, is a popular Naga food made from a mixture of rice, vegetables and various meats. It is usually served simple that is with its main ingredients but one can try or put various other ingredients into the Galho.
This dish I have cooked with soya chunks instead of chicken
LETS GET COOKING:
Course : Main dish
Cuisine : Indian
Prep time : 10 minutes
Process time : 20 minutes
Total time : 30 minutes
Rice - 1 cup
Carrot - 1
Cabbage - 1/4 cup
Cauliflower - 1/4 cup
Ginger - 1 inch
Soya chunks / chicken - 1/2 cup
Mustard seed leaves - 1/2 cup
Chili powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Wah and soak the rice for 1 hour
Now boil the soak rice till its half cooked
Now add soya chunks or chicken, carrot, cabbage, cauliflower and ginger, chili powder and salt, mix
Boil until soya chunks or chicken and vegetables are cook
Then add chopped mustard seed leaves to it and boi for 10 minutes
