Chana Dal is a healthy and saucy Lentil Dish that’s perfect to serve with rice or roti. This chana dal fry recipe includes lots of bold spice powders.

Chana Ki Dal saucy lentil soup

Dried green peas(chana dal) - 1 cup
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Green chili paste - 1 tsp
Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
Chili powder - 1 tsp
Coriander seed powder - 1 tsp
Cumin seed powder - 1 tsp
Dry mango powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Salt - as per taste
Oil - 1 tsp
Water - 1 cup
Wash and soak dried green peas over night
Next day, while cooking remove the soaked water, add the soaked peas into pan, with required water, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin seed powder, dry mango powder, turmeric powder, salt as per taste, green chili paste, ginger-garlic paste, fennel seeds and mix, cover and cook until peas are cooked completely
In other pan add oil, chili powder, sauté, then add cooked masala peas with water and boil for 5 minutes
Serve hot with rice or chapathi
