Black chana dal - 1 cup
Onion - 1
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Dried red chili - 2
Chili powder - 1 tsp
Dry mango powder - 1 tsp
Salt - as per taste
Oil - 1 tsp
Wash and soak black chana dal over night
Cooked the soaked dal for 5 whistle. keep aside
In a pan add oil, dry red chili, cumin seeds allow it to crackle
Add onions sauté until soft
Add chili power, dry mango powder and salt as per taste and sauté until aromatic
Then pour the cooked black chana dal with water and mix
Boil for 10 minutes and serve hot
