Chicken Drumstick in Dutch Oven

The only time we really think about eating chicken drumsticks is when we roast a whole chicken.

After a quick marinade, these drumsticks bake/cook in the dutch oven in no time and stay extremely tender and juicy. The high heat helps the skin get nice and crispy for a perfectly baked drumstick that only take about 20 minutes to cook!

The joy of a marinade is that you can prep the chicken whenever you have the chance and then when you are ready to cook the chicken is too. Make the marinade the night before even and let it sit in the refrigerator overnight.

Add the vegetables below, to that it will increase its taste by collecting the roasted chicken oil from the chicken placed above.

What is special about a Dutch oven?

A Dutch oven is perfect for braises because of how heavy it is, which helps it retain and distribute heat evenly—ideal for searing meat at high heat and maintaining low-and-slow temperatures for a long time.

A good Dutch oven serves as the most important—and most versatile—cooking vessel in your kitchen. They're great for both the stovetop and the oven, making them ideal for braising meat; cooking soups, stews, and sauces; boiling water for pasta; frying chicken; and even baking bread.

Here I have used wooden skewers as mesh tray to keep the chicken on it to cook inside dutch oven, you can use ang mess tray if yo have.
